ThinkYuva Youth Challenge 2008
It is said "the power of the ink splashes away the evils of the centuries" and when the subliminal meets the mind it is called "Think". It was the power of "Think" which caused the tri-colour to be waved on the 15th ofAugust, 1947 and it is going to be the power of "Think" which would mould the future.
The Eliminations:
- Spot a problem in your city that you think requires attention
- Problem identified should fall under these three categories (Civic sense, Children related problem and Environment)
- Identify a solution thatyou believe is implemental
- Solution of not more than 2000 words in the template format uploaded should be submitted by the 29th July 2008 to entries@thinkyuva.com
The Finals:
- 11 shortlisted entries will have the chance to work on the feasibility and implementation model of their solutions
- A final presentation will take place on the 17th August 2008 at Gujarat Law Society Auditorium, Ahmedabad
- The solutions will be judged by a panel of high profile jury
- The top three "most innovative practices" will be declared winners
Eligiblity Criteria:
- Anyone between the age of 17-30 years
Prizes:
- Winner: Prizes worth Rs. 50000
- First Runner Up: Prizes worth Rs. 30000
- Second Runner Up: Prizes worth Rs.20000
Important Dates:
- 10th of June: Entry for phase 1 starts
- 29th of July: Entry for phase 1 closes
- 31st of July: Participants intimated about selection for the phase 2
- 6rd of Aug: Confirmation from the top 11 selected teams about their participation
- 17th of Aug: ThinkYuva Youth Challenge @ GLS Auditorium from 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm
